Baby Boogie Backpack
Thank you so much for checking out my Baby Boogie backpack! Baby Boogie is a snuggly plushie that also functions as a mini backpack! I use a 7 x 9 premade drawstring liner insert and the pattern explains how to attach the bag as you crochet. You can also choose to sew your own liner (instructions for this are not included).
This intermediate level pattern is written in US terms. I highly recommend using the specified types of yarn to ensure you end up with a backpack sized plush. Mine measure about 14 in. tall and 9 inches wide, not including the arms.
This pattern is worked in the round, and the straps are “made to fit.”
Yarn
-3 colors of Bernat Blanket Yarn (1 skein each)- Limeade Sparkle (main color, A). Pale Gray (accent color, B) & coal (accent color, C)
-Black worsted weight acrylic for the eyes, spiders & embroidered stitching
-4.0, 6.5. and 8.0 mm hooks
-7x9 inch cotton canvas drawstring bag for the liner (or sew your own)
-blunt tipped needle for sewing
-scissors
-poly-fil
-other helpful items: stitch markers, sewing pins (highly recommend! to pin pieces in place before sewing), something to poke holes through the liner (you can carefully cut small holes with scissors).
