Baby Booties 2017
Note: If you use a coupon code to 'buy' this pattern, make sure the discount is actually applied, or I will assume you appreciate my pattern so much, you want to buy me a cup of coffee. In that case: Thanks.
Seamless Booties! The sole is worked flat; sides in the round, top flat with short rows and decreases, the leg continues in the round. To avoid breaking the yarn to work the top of the foot, some ‘trust the pattern’ tricks are used.
The finished size depends on yarn and needle size. The pictured samples, made on 2.25 mm needles with 4ply yarn are 7.5 to 9 cm (3.5-4 in) long; height measured at the back: 6 cm (2.5 in).
Yarn: 4ply baby wool or sock yarn (approx. 400m/100g).
A TOTAL of 30-40 gr for Main Colour (60%) and Contrast Colour (40%) will be plenty.
The red/purple sample used 15 g blue/red mix (MC) and 11 g white (CC) for the pair.
The Main Colour is used for cast on, most of the sole, the garter slip stitch dots, the instep, the cuff, and the ties. Contrast Colour is used for two stripes in the sole, and for the full rounds of the garter slip stitch pattern.

FREE?
Ok, I did spend (a lot of) time creating, checking, and writing the actual pattern pages, so to put a monetary value to it, yes, AU$ 4.50 will buy me a delicious mocha coffee at the lovely Perth City Library Cafe, where I sometimes meet with my knitting friends.
Thank You.
