These I just came up with on the fly one day when I wanted to knit something to donate to the birthing floor of the hospital I have been making items for. I had been making a lot of hats, and wanted to work on something knit flat.

They take very little yarn.

The crochet hook is to make the tie. You could also use ribbon. You will need stitch markers and a tapestry needle as well.
