NOTE: Booties are seamless and are worked bottom-up in the round in the “magic loop” technique. They are realised in both the stockinette and the garter stitches and are decorated with fantasy pattern. Booties can be joined with buttons. To make this pattern easier to follow, the sizing instructions are colour-coded as in the table above. (if text is written in black colour, it’s valid for all sizes). Working flat slip first and purl last st. of every row for selvedge sts. Those sts. are not counted in final measurements.

YARN: 2-3 skeins of Schachenmayr “Catania” (100% cotton, 125m/137yds per 50g. skeins) of sand (n. 404, 1 skein) and brown (n. 157, 1-2 skeins) colors or similar cotton yarn.

NEEDLES AND ACCESSORIES:
• 3.5 mm (UK/US 4.0) circular needles (80cm or longer);
• 2 stitch markers;
• 2 buttons (13-15 mm diameter);
• tapestry needle.
