DK weight , light worsted or medium weight yarn.
You can knit with any yarn you like : cotton, bamboo , silk , wool , acrylic in DK weight , light worsted or medium weight yarn.

NEEDLES: US 7 ( 4.5 mm) 29” - 60” ( 80 cm – 150 cm) circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.

GAUGE : on #US 7 needles (4.5mm)
4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) 20 sts x 30 rows
Gauge is not important as it is a blanket and it just amends the size a bit.
