This baby boy’s christening outfit crochet pattern is designed to fit a 4-6 month old infant. Use specific yarn and crochet hooks to produce the exact size you need.

This project is for experience crocheters.

The file includes instructions for making all the pieces shown in the sample photos.

1. a double-breasted sweater jacket
2. pants with suspenders
3. a baseball-style cap
4. button-strap booties

The basic garments are made with #3 weight yarn and a Size F (American 2.75 mm) or Size G (American 4.00 mm) crochet hook.

Optional trim requires #10 or #3 cotton thread and a Size 0 or Size 2 steel hook. Instructions for the trim are included in the file.

You will also need 13 buttons to complete this project.
