Baby Boy Christening Outfit
This crochet pattern combines the delicate lace of a traditional christening gown with the sporty look of today’s baby boy fashion. The result is a sweet but masculine christening outfit for you special little boy.
The pieces are made with a size 7 (1.65 mm) American crochet hook and size 10 crochet cotton, known among crocheters for its staying power. With proper care, your hand-crafted garments can last for generations!
The outfit is sized for a 4-6 month old infant. However, because of their generous fit and stretch room, the garments can in some cases accommodate an older baby.
The pattern includes instructions for a lace jacket with three buttons, open-front rompers with 7 buttons and ¾ length legs, a ribbon-tied bonnet, and two sizes of booties to allow for the different growth patterns in baby boy feet.
