The dolls are created using basic knitting stitches. This pattern includes: instructions to make Michael Doll, a list of abbreviations, a materials list and recommended yarns. You will learn to make the doll from beginning to end. There are step by step photo’s for each step.

Baby doll Michael is approximately 36 cm from head to toe (14,17”) and approximately 24 cm (9,45”) when seated. He is made of soft acrylic yarn, good humor and love. You can use any other yarn you find suitable - Doll can come taller or smaller but still a lot of fun to knit and to become friends with. I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric. The toy’s legs and arms can be moved every way.

You can use acrylic yarn. The thicker yarn you use, the bigger toy you will get.

I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric.

• Four double-pointed needles in a size appropriate to get a tight gauge ( I used a size 0 (US)- 2.00mm) U.K.-14
• Yarn Sport: 100% Acrylic (Wool): I have used wool 150 meters / 50 grams (164 yards /1.76 ounces) )- Beige color-100 gr,
For hair: Brazilia yarn from Schachenmayr (King Cole Moments yarn -Yarn Weight Fashion / DK)- 98 yards (90 meters) /50 grams (1.76 ounces) – 30 gr
• Felt- thickness 1 mm (White color)
• stitch marker
• tapestry needle
• Fiberfill stuffing
• safety eye or embroider floss -12mm-14mm
• Universal transparent glue.
• Oil pastels-pink color. Eye shadow
• Approx. 40 cm (15.75 inch) of 2 core copper PVC-coated electrical wire (diameter: 2x1 mm)

• 4 big buttons (20 mm)
This pattern assumes you know how to knit in the round (using your favorite method, be it DPN, two circulars or magic loop), purl, increase (kfb), decrease (k2tog ), and long tail cast on. I used acrylic yarn but you could use any yarn, just upsize the needles appropriately.
