This is a great baby blanket made of checkered squares with beveled drawings on them.
Finished size is 98 cm X 102 cm, great for an activity blanket.
The yarn used is Lion Brand “Cotton Ease”, which is half acrylic, half cotton and after trying many yard types, this is the ideal yarn for a blanket - really soft and still hard enough to maintain the shape.
You’ll need 2 skeins of each color of the squares, and 3 skeins for the stripes in between them.
needles used: 4 mm circular (needs a short cord and a long one).
