Baby Brights Collection
Bright colors, seamless construction, and easy-care yarn come together in this layette for newborns to one-year-olds.

We chose our worsted weight superwash yarn, Alegria Grande, to make this collection full of quick (and washable!) knits for all babies! Alegria Grande Bocados, mini 25g skeins of Alegria Grande, are perfect for the pops of cheery accent colors throughout the collection.

One pattern booklet includes the instructions for 2 sweaters, 2 hats, a blanket, a pair of mitts, and a pair of socks -- perfect to outfit the newbie in your life!

Colorblock Pullover: 1 sk MC for all sizes

1 (2, 2) sks CC1, and 2 (2, 3) sks CC2 (see Notes)

Stripes Cardigan, Stripes Hat, mitts, and socks set:

2 sks MC for all sizes

2 (3, 3) sks CC1, 1 (2, 2) sks CC2, 2 (2, 2) sks CC3,

1 (1, 2) sks CC4, 1 (1, 2) sks CC5

Blanket: 5 sks MC

1 sk each of CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4, and CC5

Colorblock Hat: 1 sk each of MC

1 sk each CC1, and CC2 for all sizes

US 7/4.5mm 16” and 24” circular needles and double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

Stitch markers (one in a unique color)
Stitch holders or waste yarn for both sweaters
Three 5/8” buttons for Stripes Cardigan
Tapestry needle

• GAUGE •

18 sts and 30 rows/rnds = 4”/10cm in Garter Stripes pattern.
18 sts and 27 rows/rnds = 4”/10cm in St st for Socks and Mitts.
18 sts and 39 rows = 4”/10cm in Garter st.
18½ sts and 28 rows/rnds = 4”/10cm in St st for Colorblock Pullover and Colorblock Hat.
