About pattern:
This pattern is made for those, who knows basics of amigurumi crochet!
This pattern is written in American terms:
• MR - Magic Ring
• sc - Single Crochet
• invdec - Invisible Decrease
• inc – Increase
• (…)xN – repeat all inside the parentheses N times.
Crochet in a spiral!
Baby Chestnut size using sport yarn and 1.9mm crochet hook - 4cm/1.57 inches in height.
Using chenille yarn and 3.5mm crochet hook – 8.5 cm/3.35 inches.
Materials:
• Yarn of your choice. I used 55% cotton, 45% acrylic ”YarnArt Jeans” sport yarn (1.76oz/174yd = 50g/160m) and “Snowball. Warm velvet” Chinese chenille yarn (100g/80m =3.53oz/109.36 yd).
• Crochet hook. I used 1.9 mm metal hook for sport yarn and 3.5mm for chenille yarn. Use the size which is better for you, but note that the size of the toy depends on your yarn and hook choice!
• Stuffing, scissors, yarn needle
• Black and pink embroidery thread or yarn
• Safety eyes (I used 8mm safety eyes for small toy and 15mm for plush toy). The size of the eyes depends on yarn thickness you chose for your toy to keep the proportions. Bigger toy – bigger eyes.
HAVE FUN! :)
