This cute chick holds an EOS Lip balm. It will also fit a standard sized plastic Easter egg. He’s great for Easter baskets and just for fun! The body is worked from the bottom up with no stuffing required.

Use any suitable worsted weight yarn. The pattern calls for the beak to be done in a scrap of orange sport weight yarn, but it can just as easily be made with the same color as the chick.

Pattern is suitable for a beginner with experience in working in the round, as well as single, double and half double crochet stitches.
