Baby Chuck Booties
This pattern is worked flat and the shaping is done using short rows. An addictive little pattern that has me making Chucks for all my expectant friends!
The laces function as drawstrings around the ankles for authentic “sneaker” feel for the low-top version. I provide detailed instructions within the pattern for achieving this effect, which is pretty easy to do.
I just updated the PDF with a Hi-top version of this pattern that utilizes a ribbed ankle and the laces are decorative rather than functional. You can see this version in Navy Blue in the photos.
