Also please note that Deer Stalkers aren’t just for baby boys, made up in a pretty colour the deerstalker looks just as cute on baby girls. The pattern is for crochet, and uses double knitting wool in small quantities. You will need a contrast colour to edge and a 4mm hook. The hat fits a head sized 15 to 16 inches in circumference but you can make a bigger or smaller size by using the next size hook either way.
