This dragon pattern works up well in a worsted 4/ aran weight, worsted 3/ dk weight, or a worsted 2.
I used a thinner worsted 4 and a 4mm hook and the dragon pictured. It takes about 200-250 yds of main color and 15-20 yds of accent color.
