Second in a series of panel afghans, I have been dreaming about making a dragonfly afghan for years now, and finally got down and did it! This baby afghan is a full crib or toddler sized bed afghan. It measures 50” x50” when completed without a border.

I used sport weight Ice Yarns baby yarns to complete this afghan as shown in the photos, 6 balls (100 gr each) of Super Baby in Turquoise, and 4 balls(50 gr each) of the variegated in the Colorway Antibacterial in Purple/pink/blue, will complete one panel.

This pattern would also look amazing in a self-striping yarn for the dragonfly intarsia - this may just be my next indulgence….

Materials needed:

  • H hook - 4mm
  • Sport weight yarn in contrasting colours
  • Stitch marker and paper to note where you left off
  • Scissors

If choosing to do the 4 panels of this afghan it will measure 100” x100”, and will generously cover a queen sized bed or a full sofa.
