This baby hat sits around 14.5-16” in circumference. making it a good hat for unknown baby.
We use provisional cast on to work hat bottom up, and then pick up bottom to make earflaps.
I use Bernat softee baby yarn,

• 3mm 16” circular needle
• 4 3mm DPNs.
• a stitch marker
