I put my whole heart into this pattern because elephants need all our support. They are inteligent and kind. Babies are becoming orphans everyday because of hunters and poachers. They wear blankets in their backs at night in the shelters because they don´t have the warmth of their moms and families to keep them alive.

Finished doll measures about 17cm/ 6.5in tall. This pattern is rated intermediate level. The stitches used are mostly basic except for the loop stitch.

It is all really well explained with pictures of the process. As mentioned before, the crocheting part is pretty fast but adding the face expression and features might take a bit more time and patience.
It is worth it in the end.
