Elf Hat is knit seamlessly from front to back on two needles, then worked in the round for the decrease rows that create the pointed tip. Materials

• Worsted weight yarn, 75-100 yards/70-100 meters. I used Esquel in Rouge from Louisa Harding Yarns
• US Size 6 (4 mm) knitting needles, straight or circular
• US Size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles, straight or circular
• US Size 8 (5 mm) double-pointed knitting needles
• Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
