Well, I had such a great response from my Lady Finkaa pattern that it inspired me to make them in more sizes. My Finkaas are inspired by our family heritage of Swiss ancestry. I wanted to make a loafer-like slipper/shoe that would portray the heritage that we treasure in our home, and share it with you.

Description:
This little shoe pattern is perfect for both boys and girls, and the pattern includes 2 variations on the strap.

This pattern also includes over many high definition photos to take you through the knitting process step by step. The whole shoe is knit in garter stitch and is fairly basic. Perfect for anyone from the adventurous beginner to the long time knitter. The color effect is accomplished by using variegated yarn, and the texture is accomplished by putting some, but not all of the shoe through a felting process. If you’ve never felted before, don’t be intimidated. It’s an ease peasy process that is described step by step within the pattern for both top-loading ad front-loading washing machines, as well as a hand felting alternative.
