This cute vest is knit side to side, and fastened by two ties in the front (making it more baby friendly than buttons).

Three sizes are available. However, since the sizes of baby clothes vary greatly by brand, and children rarely fit into the size matching their age, I suggest following the chest measurements found in the pattern rather than the sizes themselves.

I made this particular vest from yarn I salvaged from an old sweater. The yarn recommended in the pattern is a close match, but not identical.
