This sweet little dress has a smocked panel yoke and patterned cuffs. I have knitted this dress using soft, cool, cotton, however also works well when knitted in wool (you will need to check your tension first if using woool). Looks great on as a dress, also when worn with pants or leggings.This garment has been designed to be a loose fit.
This pattern is suitable for the Intermediate Knitter.

SIZE - Approx age - 6 to 9 months -- 9 to 12 months

FINISHED MEASUREMENT
Smock Length 39cm 42cm, 15” 16½”approx
Sleeve length 16.5cm 19cm, 6½” 7½”approx

MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 4 6 x 50 grams balls of 8 ply cotton or wool
• One pair 3.75mm
• Stitch Holder
• 1 2 Button s

PATTERN UPDATE INFORMATION
If you chose to knit this pattern in anything other than the specified 8ply (DK) cotton, you will need to add extra rows of the Moss stitch (Seed stitch) hemline. I have had feedback that the hemline does not stay flat. By adding the extra rows to the hemline will fix this problem.
