The pattern is written in US crochet terms but with a conversion chart at the beginning of the pattern to UK / Australian terms. Its just that some of the names of the stitches are different.

Materials & tools you will need:
★ Acrylic or other yarn - DK, Double Knitting in UK, Light Worsted in the USA, 8ply in Australia.
★ Crochet hooks sizes H 5mm (or J 6mm) for hat and G 4mm (or H 5mm) for booties.
★ Satin ribbon 1 m (39”), width 10 mm (0.4”) or other width and colour of your choice.
★ 1 pearl bead.
