I made this for my future nephew, based off Hedwig from the Harry Potter series.

The pattern is made with a Bulky white yarn and a contrasting one, though it could easily be made solid. Since safety eyes aren’t recommended for new borns, I opted to make my own knit ones, with a French knot for the pupils .
The body is knit flat in 2 pieces, using short rows for shaping and then sewn together.
