The pattern is written in US terms. Use ANY weight or type of yarn you prefer. For mine, I used ‘Baby Bella’ Tootgarook - 4 ply Cotton. A natural fibre for baby for any season of the year. The only stitch patterns I have used in this blanket are: HDC, SHELL (2 hdc/s), SC and BLHDC (back loop hdc)
You can choose the size you prefer. Width, Length etc
I chose to use a 3.50 mm hook for more of a soft drape, instead of the yarns suggested size of 3.25mm. So, like i said; its all up to you how you want to work it all. The possibilities are endless! You could even use different coloured yarns for the Pattern Repeats?
Remember to follow the instructions for washing and drying the yarn/blanket is a huge must; especially with cotton!
