Celebrate your little one’s release from doing “9 months On The Inside” with the Baby Jailbird Collection. Available as a dress, romper, or footie pajamas, in both fingering weight and sport, these little outfits have been styled with a sense of humor. Knit them as I have, for adorable pictures, or play with any color combinations for a more classic wardrobe addition. The smaller sizes use less than 400 yards, so it makes a great use of a special skein for a special little baby.

The romper is knit top-down, in the round, and uses short rows to make extra room in the backside for a diaper. The legs are then knit back and forth, and stitches are picked up for the button band.
