Baby Jayne Buggy Blanket
In my job as a registrar I see lots of babies when they are bought in by their parents to register their birth. More often than not the babies are in the car seat and I always love it if they have a homemade crocheted blanket keeping them warm and snuggly!
This little blanket is ideal for the car seat or buggy to keep your little one cosy. Made in Stylecraft special dk it’s not only soft but easy to wash. I’ve made this in the cream and parma violet colours but of course it would look fantastic in a multitude of different colours!
Made up of granny squares with a cute tie border I have included photos and diagrams, including a crochet chart to enhance the written instructions.
Pattern uses UK crochet terms with a US conversion chart inc.
Gauge is not critical for this project but using suggested yarn and a 4mm crochet hook, the squares work up at 10cm x 10cm and the finished blanket measures 70cm x 57cm.
