This pattern came to be as part of my attempt to be ready for back to school!, every year gets me!, this time I will be armed with dozen of hats, cowls, gloves… This one is just a fun convo, my girls like to pretend to be little kittens so this one designed itself!. It is very easy and crochets very fast too!

Level: Easy - Beginners

Sizes:
Size newborn to 3 months (approx 14”)
Size 3 – 6 months (approx 16”)
Size 6 – 24 months (approx 18”)
Size 3 – 10 years (approx 19”)
Size teens to adult (approx 20.5”)

Materials and notions: (hat and cowl)
First two sizes 50g of any worsted weight yarn, I used Ice yarns alpaca and wool mix, I do suggest not to make a cowl for the smaller babies and it could be unsafe to wear, from 3 years up, it should be okay (this is to your discretion of course)
For bigger sizes 100g - 150g for hat and cowl.
30 g of any DK cotton yarn blue, I used Wendy DK cotton yarn.
Because I am in the UK and not all the yarn weights are the same, check out this link from Vogue Knitting, I am referring in the pattern of a yarn of type 4 Medium for the hat and cowl, and 3 light for the DK yarn.

For hat and cowl size hook H (5 mm)
For the ears and nose size hook E (3.5mm)
