This is a quick, fun baby knit and it is a great way to use up small amounts of leftover yarn. The sample was knit in a worsted weight (110 yards/50 gram skein) superwash merino wool. The sample shown is the 3 months size with optional tassel. Baby Leo loves it, and wears it everyday!

SIZES: 3, (6, 12) months

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference: 14, (16, 18) inches in circumference
Length: 12.5, (14.5, 16) inches long
Changes to gauge or yarn weight, or adding length, may require extra yarn

GAUGE: 23 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10cm on gauge size needles

NEEDLES:
US Size 6 (4.0mm)
Choose needle types base on your preferred method of working small circumferences in the round. Options include magic-loop on a 32-inch circular needle, a combination of a 16-inch circular needle and DPNs, or 2 24-inch circular needles.

YARN: Use a worsted weight wool at approximately 220 yards/100g
