The Baby Link Shield is a easy and fast pattern . I rate this easy for people who know basic stitches .You only need a little bit of yarn . One skein of the Caron Simply Soft would probably make 5 shields ! For the decorations on top of shield a you will just need a very small amount .so this pattern would be great to use up your scrap yarn !! You will be using two strands of yarn just to make the shield part ,the decorations only uses one strand and H / 5.00 mm hook . The gauge I got when I measured was 4 rows and 3 1/2 “ when I measured it .The pattern is for 0 to 3 month size and 3 to 6 months .all you need to do to make it the larger size is to add one more round . If you wanted to make it bigger ,then just keep adding more round of rnd 8 at the
