A United Nations Foundation charity that focuses on empowering girls to reach new heights and to break barriers and to unite girls to help girls who suffer from gender inequality and great social injustices. This is a girl led and girl driven organization. Girls helping girls. An idea that is near and dear to my heart.

Materials: You will need DK weight yarn and approximately 100 yards of the main color and 50 yards of the contrast color. If using speckled or variegated yarns, make sure they don’t blend too much together as the heart motif might not be as noticeable.

Sizing: There are 4 sizes ranging from Infant to Child that will fit head circumferences ranging from 13” to 18” approximately.

Needles: You will need a set of size 4 and size 6 needles in both circular and double pointed. You will only need the double pointed size 4 needles for Infant.
