This baby (0-3 month) mermaid tail cocoon outfit pattern is of my own design. This would be so adorable for a baby’s first photo shoot, as a show-stopper baby shower gift or both! This design could be made in a solid color as well as in dual colors as shown.

The scale stitch included in the pattern is my own version of the stitch, which gives the mermaid tail a fine, scaly textured appearance.

I had a great deal of fun creating my mermaid tail patterns and worked very hard to make them available for purchase. I’m excited to share them with others who also share an affinity for crochet as well as mermaids.
