• size F crochet hook
• stitch markers (2)
• yarn needle
• worsted weight yarn in desired murloc colors (as many as you want!), plus a small amount of black and white, and a color for the iris of the eye
o for the main color - which you will need the most of – a 5oz (236 yards/215 meters) skein will be more than enough
• stuffing material
• pins (optional), to pin pieces into place before joining

Gauge: approx. 4 sts/in and 4 sc rows/in

Finished murloc measures approx. 11” from nose to tail, 11” from tallest back spike to foot with leg outstretched. Feel free to change your hook size to adjust the size to meet your needs.

Additional NOTES: All rnds are continuous throughout. Also, I worked in tight back loop only (BLO). Working in normal crochet should not affect your gauge greatly. Working BLO results in a squishier plushy whereas normal crochet will give you a firmer one. BLO also gives you nice visible loops for a lot of the joining, so I recommend it. I’m not a magic loop person, but you can use magic loop to start these pieces. I am a person who likes to use my tails for joining though. If you want to leave short tails and pull them in, then cut lengths of appropriate colored yarn for sewing feel free to do this.
This pattern is not for a specific murloc as there are so many in the game to choose from. This pattern is all of the parts and how to assemble them. Colors are up to you but there are some suggestions as you go and a ton of pictures. Pick your favorite murloc and follow your heart or make up an original murloc.
