Knit from the neck down, the sweater is seamless, asymmetric, and has raglan sleeves. The yarn-over stitches in the cable pattern are used as buttonholes. The pattern, using gauge of 22 sts = 4”, produces a sweater with a 20” chest size with positive ease. This should fit a baby up to 9 months. The pattern can be made larger, up to 24 months, by using larger needles and/or heavier yarn to obtain gauge of 20 sts = 4”.
