Cute little baby owls in neon colors are on this simple rectangular cowl.
It has a two color ribbing and two little extra border patterns: moon and stars.
The owls differ slightly, one’s ears are pricked the others not.
You can also use other neon colors (like bright orange or pink for the owls).
For shorter versions either leave out one of the owls or one of the border patterns.
There are also notes included how to adjust the cowl in width.
It is completely knitted in 4-ply sock yarn.
But you can also use Acrylic or Merino yarn of similar weight or thicker.
Even in bulky yarn (which is at the moment available in neon colors) the owls will look cute. Gauge is not that important for this project (you may have to shorten the cowl, however). But make sure that the cowl goes over your head :)

There are at most two colors in one round so it is easier to knit than you may think!

Süße kleine Babyeulen in Neonfarben zieren diesen einfachen rechteckigen Cowl (Kurzschal, den man einfach über den Kopf zieht). Er hat einen zweifarbigen Bund, zwei hübsche Bordüren (Mondsichel und Sterne) und zwei leicht unterschiedliche Eulenbabies.
Eins hat die Ohren gespitzt, das andere nicht.
Ihr könnt die Eulen auch in pink oder orange stricken.
Besonders Neonfarben sehen klasse aus!
Ihr könnt den Schal auch kürzer (1 Eule oder Bordüre weglassen) stricken und es sind auch Angaben enthalten, um ihn länger zu stricken.
Da die Maschenprobe nicht so wichtig ist, könnt Ihr den Kurzschal auch in dickem Neongarn stricken. Da empfiehlt es sich aber, ihn zu kürzen, evtl. nur auf die Eulen und 1 Bordüre zu beschränken.

Ich habe ihn in 4-fach Sockenwolle gestrickt.
Es sind übrigens maximal 2 Farben pro Runde enthalten. Damit ist er leichter zu stricken als Ihr glaubt.

Für Eulenliebhaber gibt es übrigens auch eine Eulenmütze mit anderen Eulen und in anderen Farben.
