I designed this pattern especially for my youngest daughter. When she was a baby she hated jackets and hats. The perfect solution was the Baby Petals Hooded Poncho. There are no sleeves, buttons, snaps, or zippers to fuss with. You just pop it on and go. It looks great with dresses and jeans. Also, it is no problem with car seat and stroller straps.

This pattern is available in sizes 0-6 months and 6-18 months.This is a versatile pattern that works with such yarn types as worsted weight yarn, dk weight yarn, baby or fingering weight yarn. However, if making a poncho for 0-6 months use baby or fingering weight yarn.
