Poppy Hat and Shoes from my Baby Ascot Collection.
This is a real joy to knit, surprisingly easy it is knitted on 2 needles.
Instructions to knit the Hat with large version poppy and also the T-Bar shoes with smaller poppy flowers. Could be knitted in any combination of colours for a totally different look.
Pattern also available to knit a co-ordinating shrug/bolero and headband.
You will need:
100g DK wool in (M) Main Colour (Red)
50g of DK wool in Black (B)
50 small black glass beads
4mm needles and 3mm needles
2 small black buttons for the shoes. (10mm)

Worked from the top down
To fit child sizes 3-6 (6 -12) months.

Tension
23 sts and 30 rows = 4 ins 10 cm in stocking st.
