Baby Rabbit
This pattern is written using US crochet terminology. It uses basic stitches but due to the small size is recommended for advanced beginner skill level and above. You can use whatever yarn you like but all the samples were made using Stylecraft Special DK yarn and a 3.25mm hook. The giant rabbit was made with the yarn doubled and a 4mm hook. I used 7.5mm safety eyes though you could also embroider the eyes. If you would like to make the tails fluffy or to make one of the fluffier breeds then you will also need a wire brush. This pattern uses the same basic body shape for all the rabbits and I have included all the details to make the colour variations for the breeds shown in the cover photo. The ears also change with the breed. The head and body are worked as a continuous spiral. The legs and tail are worked in rows and the ears are made from crocheting onto the starting chain.
