Cute, fun and festive baby elf/ santa hat. Easy pattern and knits up really quick.

i-cords are used to make the quirky end to the tip of the hat instead of a traditional puff ball. Less ends to have to weave and tuck.

You can use circular needles but will need to switch to double pointed needles or use the magic loop method to finish the tip of the hat. The crochet hook is to pull the i-cord tassel tails inside the hat to tie them off. you can use any kind of hook but this is what I used and it was quick and easy.

One skein of each color is plenty. You can probably make at least two hats with this amount of yarn (got twins?)
