This little jacket was inspired by a 1930’s pattern. You can adjust for boy or girl by changing which side you put the buttons and buttonholes on.

I’ve edited the posted pattern with corrections to the front panels to include the second row of buttonholes and the final number of stitches before binding off.
I’ve edited the pattern posted with corrections to the shaping on the front sections and to emphasize that the sleeves are worked top down.
