These legwarmers typically fit babies and children from ages 6 mos – 3 years. They can be worn pushed up over the knees or “scrunched up” below the knees on younger/smaller babies and toddlers, or worn below the knees as they get older.

Materials Needed, etc.:

• Yarn: 4 partial skeins Sport Weight or Fingering Yarn (depending on your own personal knitting tension/gauge and size desired) in yellow, dark green, red, and light green

• Gauge: 28 sts/28 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch/Colorwork pattern

• Needles: 1 set (4 or 5 small double-pointed needles) of Size 2 (US)/2.75 mm) DPNs – or circulars if you are using the Magic Loop method. (Or size needed to obtain gauge. Be sure to knit your swatch in the charted pattern to ensure correct gauge or to change the gauge if you wish to make the legwarmers smaller or larger.)

• Tools: 1 large-eye blunt needle or tapestry needle, stitch markers.

• Finished Size: Circumference – 6.5 - 7 inches un-stretched, Length – 10 inches
