Baby Snowflake is a simple and quick knit a perfect introduction to colourwork and uses very little yarn. The result is a pair of beautiful mittens which are sure to keep your little ones hands nice and toasty when out in the winter cold.

The pattern calls for sport weight yarn to get a newborn/infant sized mitten but you could easily substitute DK or worsted weight and adjust the needle size accordingly to make a slightly larger mitten to fit an older baby.
