Inspiration for the design of this sweater and hat came from our time spent in Norway. My husband is Norwegian and over the years we have been back there many times. I fell in love with his beautiful country and loved the stranded and hardanger designs. This little jumper is not difficult to knit up and I have tried to keep the stranded pattern simple, in the hope that the knitters out there that have been too daunted by knitting fair isle give this a go. Once you have started you will fall in love with this form of knitting.

MATERIALS REQUIRED - 4ply yarn
Sweater 3, 4, 5 - 50g ball/s
Hat 1- 50g ball
Contrast Colour 1 x 50g ball for all sizes
One pair 3.25mm (US 3, UK 10) needles
3.25mm (US 3, UK 10) Circular needles
Stitch holders

TENSION

28 stitches over 36 rows = 10cm (4 in) worked in stocking stitch on 3.25mm (US 3, UK 10) needles.
