This is an adorable winter hat for the little snow lover in your life!

Can be knit in any worsted weight yarn.

Newborn hat circumference is ~ 14” and 4” tall with natural roll brim
3-6 is ~ 16” and 5” tall
6-12 is ~ 18” and 6” tall

Two main colors are used, one for the snowman color and one for the hat. This pattern uses white for the snowman and black for the hat with scraps of black and orange for the face!

Hat can be made with 16” size 6 circular needles or double pointed.
Double pointed are used for decreasing at the top and for the little top hat!

Top hat brim can be knit or for a stiffer brim- crocheted with a size H crochet hook.

Of course that hat can be made longer or shorter, and I sometimes go up a needle size if I need to work the baby hats in a crunch timeline, or for a slightly larger headed baby!
