ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Baby Socks are worked toes-up on circular needles using the magic loop method. First work the toe, then the foot, then the heel, then the leg, then the folded hem and finally the ruffle edge.
This pattern incorporates techniques like Turkish cast-on, German short rows, increases and is suitable to intermediate skill levels

YARNS & MATERIALS
Approx. 60 (70) 80 g of Extra Fine Merino
(50 g = 165 m), color Off White n°02.
Circular needles 2.5 mm 60 cm
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
31 stitches x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, on needle size 2.5 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
Wash and block your swatch.
