This CROCHET PATTERN for my Crochet Baby Swaddler Cocoon and Hat Set is an original design created by me. The idea was inspired by the baby swaddlers my children enjoyed in their infancy. It is made with 6 Weight bulky Red Heart Baby Clouds yarn and embellished with smooth Caron Simply Soft satin yarn.

This is an intermediate level pattern.

This set would not only make a great photography prop, but it would also very practical for everyday use.

This pattern includes detailed instructions including photos for the following:

A - The body of the swaddling wrap/cocoon including the crisscross side wrapping panels, lacy edging and button positioning measurements

B - The applique flowers and leaves

C - The hat and lacy edging

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Size “L” Hook (for the bulky yarn)
Size “I” Hook (for the satin yarn)
9 oz. (2 skeins) 6 Super Bulky Red Heart Baby Clouds in Confetti (1 additional skein needed for 3-6 Month size)
3.5 oz. (about ½ skein) 3 Weight Satin Yarn in Mint Green
(less than ½ skein) 3 Light Weight Satin Yarn in Lavender
(less than ½ skein) 3 Light Weight Satin Yarn in Pink
