The Baby Sweet Heart Set is a lovely model set that suits both boys and girls.

With this pattern you will be able to knit three pieces: the diaper cover, the hat and the booties.

The diaper cover is worked flat at the beginning than it is joined in the round. It has a garter band on the waist with holes for a waist cord.
The leg opening garter are picked up and knitted afterwards.

The hat is knitted in one piece in the round from the casting on garter edge and ending with a seam using kitchener stitch on the top.

These booties are worked flat from the sole to the leg then sewed in the back with an invisible seam.

All pieces are embroidered with a heart pattern.

Yarn for all three pieces of the baby set
Drops Merino Extra Fine (50 g / 1.8 oz, 105 mt / 115 yds, Superwash Extra Fine Merino Wool): 105 (133, 153, 173, 194, 138, 148) gr of DK/Light Worsted yarn, Unicolor 01 Off White, and 5 mt / 5.47 yds of DK/Light Worsted yarn, Mix 07 Light Brown used for embroidery. (Last two sizes haven’t the booties, so less quantity of yarn is required).

• Diaper Cover: Newborn, 1/3 months, 3/6 months, 6/9 months, 9/12 months, 12/18 months, 18/24 months.
• Hat: Newborn, 1/3 months, 3/6 months, 6/9 months, 9/12 months, 12/18 months, 18/24 months.
• Booties: Newborn, 1/3 months, 3/6 months, 6/9 months, 9/12 months.

Il Baby Sweet Heart Set è un modello che veste bene sia le femminucce che i maschietti.

Con questo pattern potrete lavorare tre pezzi: il copripannolino, il cappellino e le babucce.

Il copripannolino è lavorato in piano all’inizio e poi viene unito in tondo. Ha una banda a legaccio in vita con dei buchi per far passare la corda per stringere in vita.
Le aperture delle gambe vengono riprese in un secondo momento e lavorate a legaccio in tondo.

Il cappellino è lavorato in tondo a partire dalla banda in fronte a legaccio fino ad arrivare alla sommità che verrà chiusa da una cucitura invisibile a punto maglia.

Queste babucce sono lavorate in piano dalla suola alla gamba e poi cucite sul dietro e sotto con una cucitura invisibile.

Ogni pezzo è ricamato con un motivo a cuore.
