Baby Tuk Tuk rollup
The cutest sidekick in crochet; this baby Tuk Tuk is pocket size, ideal for keyrings or as a bagcharm. He can also roll up into a ball in his shell!
Intermediate level.
US terms.
Using DK (light worsted, 8ply) yarn the finished item is about 3” tall.
Using the Aran (10ply) yarn and 4mm hook the finished item is about 5” tall.
Materials needed:
• yarn of your choice and 1 or 2 sizes smaller hook than recommended by the label.
I used Paintbox cotton DK (light worsted/8 ply) yarn in colours 409 Light Caramel (50g) for the body (50g), 410 Soft Fudge for the shell and eyebrows (50g) and 411 Coffee Bean for the nose (only a small piece). I used a 2.5mm crochet hook (3mm hook is fine too).
• Alternative for a bigger size: Stylecraft Special Aran (worsted/10 ply) in shade 1420 Camel and 1064 Mocha. For this yarn use a 4mm hook.
• 10 mm safety eyes (14mm if you are using aran yarn)
• Fiber fill
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Small piece of felt in black, and light pink
• Fabric glue
