Baby U the Unicorn
Meet Baby U - the sweetest little unicorn and the perfect small size, but not too small. This stuffie works up super quick - less than a day for me - and used scraps of Caron Cake yarn in Faerie Cake. You will only need small amounts of yarn for this project. I had less than half a Caron Cake left and still had some leftover.
Materials:
Yarns: Baby U was constructed with leftover bits of Caron Cake yarn in Faerie Cake.
-Hook: I’ve used a G/4mm and H/5mm hook for this pattern and will note which on each section.
-Safety Eyes (or yarn to embroider if you choose) and needle to embroider face. I’ve used 15mm safety eyes.
-Stuffing. I have used Poly-Fill brand stuffing, but feel free to use what you prefer.
This unicorn worked up for me to be 15” from the top of the head to foot. This is a modification to my Scrappy the Dinosaur pattern. If you like this pattern, I have several new baby animals listed - most with the No Sew head pattern modification.
You can change the colors and make this a custom animal. Use any type of scraps and different colors.
Baby U is a written out pattern with photos and tutorials and a good beginner crochet pattern. It is a 6-page downloadable pdf.
If you have amigurumi knowledge and know how to work in the round - ex. 6,12,18,24 etc with increases and decreases you won’t have any trouble.
I am here all to help and support you in any way I can after you download my pattern.
I would love to see your baby unicorns made from this pattern so please tag me on IG @theburgundybasket
