Look at this fun family of whales - baby whale, mama whale and daddy whale - or whatever you want them to be!
These are from about 4” to 7” (for the body/ball part)
You can change the colors and make a bunch of whales!
Fully written out pattern with photos and a good beginner crochet pattern. 7-Page PDF with pattern modifications to make all 3 sizes.
Materials: I have used my size G/4mm hook for most and 4-ply worsted weight yarn like Red Heart and Caron in aqua, pink and blue with some white and light pink on the bottoms. I have used 3 different types of eyes – crochet, buttons and safety eyes so you can pick.
You will also see an updated set of photos where I used Sweet Snuggles Lite Yarn and my size J hook.
I have also used my size I/5.5mm hook for the fins and tail of the larger blue whale and the same pattern as the pink tail to get a larger size.
-Stuffing. I have used Poly-Fill brand stuffing, but feel free to use what you prefer.
